Daisy Girl

First off Welcome to my new followers.



Lately I have been in a horrible funk. I haven't really wanted to do much of anything. Especially when it comes to the computer. So sorry I haven't been leaving too many comments on your blogs. I have been reading them here and there. But mainly this past couple weeks i've had my nose in a book. I've read the entire 'Dream Catcher' series. It was pretty good.

I have been stitching a little here and there. I did get some decent progress done on 'Daisy Girl'. (When last you saw it (click here))



So now i'm suppose to work on 'On Christmas Day' I have so totally lost all mojo for this project. I put a few stitches in yesterday and i'll try to get a few more in today but who knows.

Also a couple weeks ago I ordered some fabric from Sassy's Fabbys. I love it! I am thinking about joining their fabric of the month club. It looks like you could do it for not too expensive. But then again maybe ill just wait til I get a bit of money and buy a bunch! What I ended up getting was 28ct Laguna in the color called Heartsong. I think it's so pretty. And so soft.



Well i'm off to try to stitch a little bit. Or ill shove my nose into another book. Happy stitching to you all.

Power is back

It sure hasn't been a great time the last couple weeks. First I wasn't feeling good, then a bunch of drama, then the power going out. So needless to say I really haven't done too much stitching. I had to skip last FNS and Hermit stitch day. *pouts* But i'll share with you what I have. But first I want to share some of the ice storm pictures I took.

Ok I know its Wednesday and i'm suppose to share my progress on 'On Christmas Day' but it was really hard to stitch by candlelight. So no progress this week. I'll have to make up for it next week. I did manage to get almost all of Summer done on 'Story of Seasons'. All it's missing is the little bit of dark blue on the corner.



I also started a San Man SAL for birthday critters.



This weeks project is 'Daisy Girl'. I'm looking forward to working on her. Hopefully she won't give me too many problems. Ok off to the library then to do laundry and clean house today. Then hopefully try to catch up on some blogs! Happy Stitching!

Ice Storm!

Yay I finally figured out how I can post using my phone. Last night we got hit with a big ice storm. We lost power. So it might be a couple days until I can post my stitchy pictures and of course some pretty ice pictures. Hope your all staying warm!

Wednesday SAL & 100th winner

Alright since it's Wednesday you know what that means. Time to update my 'On Christmas Day' SAL. I actually managed to work on this some this week. I think Crystal and I came up with a good rotation to use with our Crazy 15. Monday and Tuesday i'll work on the SAL then the rest of the week i'll work on one of my 15 (in order). Now just to stop adding new patterns into the rotation! So anyways here is my update of the Christmas SAL...

busy yesterday

So yesterday I decided I needed to pull out my sewing machine and get some things done. So here is what I finished.

Wednesday SAL & Another Giveaway

I did very very little on my Christmas SAL I just could not for the life of me get into stitching it yesterday. I managed to get another fourth of the bottom left snowflake done.



But Autumn in NY was calling my name. I got a tree trunk done!



I was informed yesterday I hit 100 followers! I'm sorry I didn't even notice I had gotten new followers! Welcome to all you newbies! Yay 'Mermaids' is finished! (Sorry the pic isn't the greatest)



So after I got all the beads and backstitching done I picked up 'Autumn in New York' and got a little bit more done. I would of gotten more done but I started one of my books I got from the library.



Alright i'm off to work on the Christmas SAL so I have some progress to share tomorrow. I'm also meeting my mom for dinner tonight. Should be fun.

Super bowl Sunday & V day winners

Ok first off yesterday I went the my LNS for a super bowl Sunday stitching party. It was a lot of fun. We had a lot of great food and had lots of fun talking. I was a little nervous to go. But I ended up knowing one lady that came. I use to work with her so that helped. I think i'll be going to future ones. I took along 'Autumn in New York' to work on. I got a decent amount stitched since we did a lot of talking and eating.



Lorna (LNS owner) also held a couple drawings while we were there. I won the second one! I was so excited. I won a pair of dinky dye scissor and a cute finger nail clipper in the shape of a hand. (She also got in toe nail clippers shaped like feet. They are so cute.)



Lorna also gave us 10% off our purchases. So I picked up some fabric to start a birthday SAL on the Sanman board. And some brown and white beads to finally finish 'Mermaids' (look for it tomorrow). I also got a free key chain and prairie schooler pattern.



Ok now onto what you really want to know. The winners for my Valentines giveaway. First I made a random list of all the names.



Then I used the number generator to pick two numbers.

Wed SAL & Valentine Giveaway

Alright first off here is my update on my Christmas SAL with Crystal & Wendy. I knew there was a reason I kept putting off working on it again. It somehow didn't get measure right. I was suppose to have three inches on each side but it just fits on the bottom. So hopefully once I get it finished it won't be too much hassle to frame it, maybe i'll actually pay to have this one framed.

Some progress

I was visiting with my grandma the other day and we were going through her egg beads and things. (It's better than going into a bead shop she has so much!) I noticed she had a bunch of needles just put into a piece of paper. So I decided I'm going to make her a little needle book. It doesn't exactly match the fabric colors but oh well. (I just need to pick up some felt and ribbon to finish it)



I also picked up and finished another little valentine ornament i'd started. Here are both sides.

After I finished that I got to thinking i've been neglecting my Crazy 15. So I picked up Story of Seasons and got this far.



I think John got me sick. He woke up with a sore throat the other day and yesterday I was either too hot or freezing cold all day and then this morning I woke up with the sore throat. So today i'm just going to sit watch movies and stitch. Hope your all finding stitching time!
