So yesterday we went into town to do laundry and get some groceries. And I decided to stop at JoAnn's. Last week they had a promotion going on that if you spent $50 you got a $10 coupon thing off your purchase this week. I wasn't planning on spending $50 but I was at like $47 so I grabbed a cross stitch magazine to put me over $50 so I could get the $10 thing. So we are walking around and I have been thinking/debating with myself to buy an Ott Light. I've only heard great things about them. So I broke down and looked at them. Guess what they were half off. So I figured why not. I've also got the $10 off.
So I picked this up for a grand whopping total of.... $15. It's normally $50. Now I need to figure out how to set it up by my stitching spot.
Also i've been trying to get John into a crafty hobby and hes ok trying something but seems to get bored easily with it. I picked up a cute hook latch but i'll prolly end up doing it. But yesterday he picked this out (sorry about the flash).
He's excited to do it but he's waiting til I have to paint something so I can help him with it.
On stitchy news i've been working on mermaids still. I just am loving this project so I think i'm going to stick with it until it's done. (which shouldn't be too much longer) I didn't feel like taking it out of the qsnaps so you will just have to wait til I do so I can take a picture. Alright i'm off to stitch until it's time to get ready for work. Happy stitching!

I couldn't do without my ott-lite and you got a good price. I wish I could get my other half, also called John, to take up a crafty hobby.
kind regards,
Shirley
Love your new light, and a great deal as well. Good luck getting John crafting.
Great deal on the light, will have to tell me if it really helps. I have a regular desktop lamp sitting on my stand with that bulb and I use it when I'm stitching even in the daytime.
